Our Approach to Care
At Miller Chiropractic, care begins with listening. We combine thoughtful evaluation, personalized treatment, and gentle, effective techniques to help you move more comfortably and support your long-term wellness.
-
The ProAdjuster is a computerized, low-force chiropractic adjusting system that evaluates spinal motion and delivers precise, gentle adjustments without twisting or popping. This technology helps improve joint mobility, reduce pain, and support optimal nervous system function while providing objective measurements to track your progress throughout care.
-
Cox® Flexion-Distraction Therapy is a gentle, non-surgical chiropractic technique that uses a specialized table to carefully stretch and decompress the spine. This therapy helps reduce pressure on spinal discs and nerves, improve joint mobility, relieve pain, and promote the body’s natural healing process. It is commonly used to treat disc injuries, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and chronic neck and low back pain.
-
Cold laser therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular healing and reduce inflammation without heat or discomfort. It helps increase circulation, promote tissue repair, decrease pain, and accelerate recovery from muscle strains, ligament injuries, tendonitis, arthritis, and other soft tissue conditions. Treatments are safe, painless, and non-invasive.
-
Divsified: A hands-on technique that uses precise, controlled movements to restore proper joint motion, improve spinal alignment, reduce pain, and enhance nervous system function. This effective approach helps increase mobility, relieve muscle tension, and support the body’s natural ability to heal and function at its best.
Gonstead: A precise, hands-on chiropractic approach that focuses on identifying and correcting areas of spinal dysfunction. It utilizes detailed biomechanical assessment and specific adjustments to restore proper joint motion, improve spinal alignment, and help reduce pain and discomfort. Each adjustment is tailored to the individual patient’s needs with an emphasis on accuracy, specificity, and patient comfort.
Thompson Drop: A chiropractic adjusting method that uses specialized sections of the table that gently lower during an adjustment. This allows the chiropractor to deliver a precise, low-force correction while reducing the amount of force transferred through the body. It is designed to help restore proper joint motion, improve spinal alignment, and provide a comfortable adjusting experience for patients of all ages.
Extremity: Extremity adjustments focus on restoring proper motion and function to joints outside of the spine, including the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. These specific chiropractic techniques help address joint restrictions, improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and support optimal movement throughout the body.
Myofascial Release: A hands-on soft tissue technique that targets restrictions and tension within the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and other structures. By applying focused pressure and stretching, this technique helps improve mobility, reduce muscle tightness, and support proper movement patterns.
Pin and Stretch: A soft tissue technique that applies focused pressure to restricted areas while moving the muscle through its range of motion. It helps reduce tension, improve flexibility, and restore normal muscle function.
Trigger point therapy: Trigger point therapy uses targeted pressure with hands or specialized tools, such as a massage gun, to address areas of muscle tension and sensitivity. This technique helps relax tight muscles, improve circulation, and support better movement and comfort.
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM): uses specialized instruments to apply controlled pressure to soft tissues, helping to address areas of tension and restriction. This technique supports improved mobility, reduced muscle tightness, and healthier tissue function.
